The game is well designed and despite the nostalgic feel of old school "bullet hell" games. Its graphics is refreshingly modern with explosion animations and quality sounds. The controls are very user friendly with the slow motion effect that happens when you let up on the controls. Let's you plan your attack on the fly.

The game is pretty good and the fact that you need to get medals in order to get to the next level. It has a good difficulty balance, the gameplay straightforward, but incredibly fun to play. The upgrade options are a nice touch and are challenging without being frustratingly difficult.

Sky Force 2014 is a very polished game that doesn't force payment for a full experience. You never reach a point where you pretty much have to pay to continue, you just need to invest more time. In-app purchases/upgrades are also reasonable and do not handicap the game.
